West Bank 2017.
This is a photographic journal of Ron’s trip to the West Bank 2017. They capture the essence of this beautiful but war-torn area of the world. See also his photographs taken in the Lebanon.
The area is steeped in Biblical history. It lies to the west of the River Jordan, hence its name. It is occupied by the Israelis, with areas of Palestinian communities. Around 2 million Palestinians live in the region, along with hundreds of thousands of Israelis.
Disputes over occupation of these territories regularly flare up. On this particular visit, Ron has chosen to document the faces of the children. Often the innocent victims in these war-torn areas, Ron has managed to capture some wonderfully evocative images.
